The Economist magazine ranked the Berkeley MBA Program #3 worldwide for the second year in a row. Haas also came in third among U.S. schools, down from #1 last year, in the “Which MBA?” ranking published online on Friday, Sept. 17.
The Economist rankings are based on data provided by participating business schools and on responses from an MBA student survey. The data is grouped into four categories which are weighted as follows: opening new career opportunities (35%), personal development/educational experience (35%), increase in salary (20%), and potential to network (10%).
The Berkeley MBA ranked #5 worldwide for opening new career opportunities and also #5 worldwide for providing the potential to network.
